A Week in Pins

It’s no secret – Pinterest is taking over the world.  We, like every other human being on the planet, have a Pinterest account and love to pin all sorts of things, creating an online archive of things we love – inspiration photos for nursery design, baby and children’s furniture, fabulous lighting, and all kinds of interesting decor ideas.  Here are some of our favorite pins from this week.

pink dresser for nursery

This ruthlessly fabulous pink credenza is from one of our favorite local design stores in Orange County, CA, Room Service.  It’s Moroccan inspired details are so chic, especially when combined with the brass ring pulls and sleek pink lacquer finish.  This piece would make an amazing changing table in a girl’s nursery – don’t you think?

Feather artwork for nursery

This gorgeous feather art print is by artist Sarah B. Martinez.  They are for sale at Furbish Studio in North Carolina – oh how we wish they would open a location in Orange County or Los Angeles!  The colors in this piece are remarkable – I’m envisioning a nursery with soft coral walls, gold and pink accents and white nursery furniture.

Geometric Kaleidoscope Sculpture

We came across this rainbow-colored stunner on Kelly Wearstler’s blog featuring Kaleidoscope inspiration.  The Cityscope by Marco Hemmerling is a quite literally a design gem.

Whimsical Child's Animal Dresser

Artist Dylan Egon created this unbelievably unique dresser.  The black and gold color scheme and solid brass legs are so on-trend and the hand painted birds, butterflies and other childlike shapes are sweet, but not cheesy (and gold-leaf, BTW).
