It’s no secret – Pinterest is taking over the world. We, like every other human being on the planet, have a Pinterest account and love to pin all sorts of things, creating an online archive of things we love – inspiration photos for nursery design, baby and children’s furniture, fabulous lighting, and all kinds of interesting decor ideas. Here are some of our favorite pins from this week.
These pins are admittedly girly!
This sweet Cat and Dog Wallpaper feels so organic with the sketchy nature of the drawings. It would make great nursery wallpaper, or dare I say, a coloring wall for a little girl’s room.
With the upcoming release of The Great Gatsby, we’ve been seeing Art Deco influences popping up everywhere. We predict that this trend will be major – it’s already starting in clothing, jewelry, and will shortly be dominating in interior design – from the geometric shapes to the black and gold color palette. We’d love to see this trend incorporated into children’s rooms and nurseries – so chic!
And speaking of fashion, this lovely fashion art print in vibrant coral red and ivory would be dashing in a girl’s nursery. Red is fast pulling out of its rut as a “scary color” and we’re seeing it used in both boy’s and girl’s nurseries – especially this slightly lighter coral hue.
How great is this pastel geometric rug? The color palette of bright yellow, peachy pink and sage green is soft, elegant and modern all at the same time.
