Little Crown Interiors for Project Nursery: Boy’s Safari Theme Nursery!

Twice a month we (Naomi Coe and Gerri Panebianco, that is), have the privilege of sharing our thoughts on nursery design with the readers of Project Nursery (which is hands down today’s best resource for all things nursery, and beyond).  Normally, we write a series called “Nursery Culture”.  The Nursery Culture series for Project Nursery focuses on the emotional side of nursery design.  With every post, we try to give insight into the aspects of a nursery design that are the most compelling.  In previous Nursery Culture posts, Little Crown Interiors has written about everything from ways to bring the positive aspects of a changing season into the nursery, to the importance of choosing the right nursery glider in a nursery design.

This week, Little Crown Interiors took a break from our Nursery Culture Series for Project Nursery to share the story of one of our new nursery design projects (a baby boy’s room that is safari theme nursery in shades of khaki, brown and green).

While this is a break from Nursery Culture, we still tried to bring a little of our passion for nursery design to this most recent Project Nursery post.  We sincerely believe that a great nursery design reaches beyond beautiful “stuff” – great nursery furniture is a wonderful starting point, and a beautiful crib set really helps, but those items don’t get to the heart of why it’s so important to pour time and thought in every nursery design that Little Crown Interiors creates.  In the end, a nursery is a place for a family to grow and thrive – it’s a place where happy memories are made.  As part of the Little Crown Interiors design process, we encourage all of our clients to think beyond aesthetics when it comes to nursery design.  Truly – what could be better than a nursery that’s both beautiful and perfectly suited to the needs of a family?
