Sometimes inspiration comes from slightly unexpected sources. When the TV show, Bridgerton, made its way in the hearts of many, it also made its way into interior design. The rich luxurious materials, ornate details, and pale jewel toned colors have inspired a contemporary take on the elegance and charm of the Regency era. After years of minimalism and neutrals, we are seeing more maximalist and traditional elements trending in nursery design. So naturally we had to pull a few of our favorite Regencycore nursery furniture and decor!
1. Ornate Gold Mirror: This mantel sized gold mirror is stunning and the ornate details give it an elegant vintage look. This shape also lends itself very well to hanging over a dresser or changing table.
2. Brass Antique Bird Hook: These are the cutest little brass bird hooks. We love adding hooks to our nursery designs as they are super convenient for hanging wraps, swaddles or diaper bags.
3.White Tufted Glider: While this nursery glider has darling traditional details, it also has all the modern functionality with a motorized recliner—the best of both worlds!
4. Blue Velvet Pillow: This ruched round pillow has a charming traditional feel and we love this for a daybed, bench or a glider. The pleated design gives it an elegant look and the soft teal blue is perfect for the Regencycore look.
5. Rattan Carousel Shelf: We just love this playful little shelf with a vintage and whimsical feel. This would be adorable in a nursery or a playroom. It’s actually larger than it looks too, so you can even put some small books on it.
6. White Wicker Bassinet: How cute is this white wicker bassinet? We frequently use a bassinet or mini crib in our nursery designs for clients that need a portable place for baby to sleep. It also pairs with the cutest floral eyelet bassinet skirt.
7. Ornate Wood Crib: The more you look at this gorgeous ornate crib, the better it gets. The light ash wood is stunning and the carved detail gives this crib an elegant heirloom look. This line also has a matching dresser and an armoire with turned legs and curved corners.
8. Ornate Traditional Rug: This traditional Persian inspired rug has a soft pastel color palette and a beautiful pattern. Patterned rugs are great for nurseries because they hide little stains.
9. Lavender Ottoman: This piece has it all—tufting, cord trims and vintage gold fringes! This ottoman really captures that traditional elegant flair, and comes in several pretty colors.
10. Bow Table Lamp: This is such an adorable table lamp in gold and white with a cute bow detail. It comes in a chandelier version too if you want to deck out your nursery in bow details.
