We cannot hide our excitement about the rise of bolder colors in nursery design. We recently did a roundup of both sage green and slate blue nursery decor and furniture, and now we’re ready with another one—this time featuring rich, deep red, warm earthy clay and rust hues. Inspired by Behr’s 2025 color of the year, we pulled together some of our favorite nursery and kid’s decor in this gorgeous hue.
1. Rust Velvet Ottoman: This velvet ottoman by Studio McGee is a perfect leg rest or even an extra seat. The u-shape design makes it feel airy and take up less visual space. The rich velvet earth tone would be pretty paired with a neutral glider.
2. Ceramic Chandelier: A statement chandelier in a pretty shade of earthy clay will add warmth and instant coziness to your nursery. The ridge design adds a little flair to this drum pendant. It comes in few different colors and three options for accent metal.
