A safe place to sleep is essential when it comes to nursery design. After over 15 years in the nursery design business, we’ve seen every crib that exists! They come in so many styles and colors, but we’ve definitely noticed a lot of clients asking for light wood cribs lately. Light wood cribs are a great way to add warmth and an organic feel to the nursery.

1. Eloise Light Wood Crib: This crib immediately caught our eye and it’s even better in person! With its beautiful silhouette and heirloom quality arched fabric panel detailing, this crib stands out. This crib converts to a toddler bed and a full bed, so you will have plenty of flexibility as your little one grows.
2. Caravan Light Wood Crib: This crib has a clever design and can convert into a low mini lounge sofa with a conversion kit that will make the crib last well beyond the nursery years. This crib is finished with an organic oil/wax and comes in a few finishes. This company has been around for a long time and they make a very beautiful product!
3. Island Wave Light Wood & Rattan Crib: This convertible crib has a beachy, coastal vibe with pretty natural rattan side panels. It converts to a bassinet, a mini crib and all the way to a junior bed—every single version looks stunning! The wheels let you move the bassinet around your house as well, which is a huge bonus.
4. Bondi Natural Cane Arch Crib: This crib has the cutest arched side panels with pretty cane detailing. The wood tone is more of a light honey color and it also converts to a toddler bed. We love the simple and chic design of this crib.

7. Lolly Light Wood & Acrylic Crib: We love a good acrylic detail! This crib is made with the most renewable wood available—New Zealand pine wood. It also comes in a few other color combinations if you don’t like the acrylic.
