You may have seen me teasing this on Instagram, but this nursery is actually an updated version of the Floral White & Pink Girl’s Nursery we designed a while back! My client contacted us while pregnant with her second child and wanted to update the space. We ended up moving most of the existing nursery furniture over to another room for her older child so we could start fresh with this nursery. The only items we kept in here from the previous nursery are the light fixture, mobile, bench, gold wall mirror, acrylic wall shelves and glider. Everything else is new and neutral!

My client wanted a more neutral nursery space this time around, something super serene and calming. Since we used removable wallpaper the first time around, it was easy to change out. We chose this pretty and whimsical cloud removable wallpaper in gray and white to fit with the neutral theme. The original nursery had light blue blackout curtains, which got moved to another room, so we replaced them with neutral blackout curtains to soften up the space. The crib got moved as well, so we chose a new crib by Little Seeds Kids with a pretty gold base. Another fairly major change was the rug. The original nursery had a gorgeous blush pink medallion rug, and we switched that for a neutral rug with a hint of sage green.

See that pretty gray dresser? Well, it ended up getting backordered for 6+ months (thanks to the many sourcing delays going on). Last minute, we had to find a replacement and luckily we did. The new one is a little more modern, but still a really great piece.
We kept the white glider in here since it’s neutral, but replaced the floor lamp and side table. The previous floor lamp was gold, and the new one is a pretty gray wood. The new side table is also a grey wood with lots of variation, and it’s a nice big size! And of course, we filled in things like crib sheets, changing pad covers and throw pillow to all coordinate with the new design. Stay tuned for the full reveal!
